| Saturday , Aug 21 | 10:30 am | Founders’ Day Commemorative- Historical Sign Installation. Hobbstown was founded in 1920 by the Rev. Amos Hobbs and his brothers Robert and GW Hobbs. | Sunday, Aug 22 | 10:30 am | Prayer Service - We close the Centennial Weekend with sustenance - prayer, fellowship, food, and drink. The Macedonia Baptist Church has served as the religious, cultural, and social center of the community. We return to this ‘heartbeat’ of the community with a Special Service led by Deacon David A.
